JAYCE SMITH

Jayce Smith is a proud Cal State University-Fullerton Alumni with a passion for graphic design, photography and sports. While pursuing his Bachelor's of Fine Arts at CSUF, Jayce befriended Natalie, who shared his love of basketball and service. During his time as a student-athlete at CSUF, Jayce served as a Resident Advisor, became a founding member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, Mu Epsilon Chapter and competed in two Division 1 programs: Cross-Country and Track & Field. Additionally, Jayce acquired the role of Graphics Director for the Titans Athletic Department where he helped revamp the interior design of the facilities and created exciting graphics for the school's 15 Division 1 Sports.

After graduating with his B.F.A in Graphic Design, Jayce took his talents to one of the most recognizable Fortune 500 companies in the world, AT&T. While at AT&T, Jayce excelled in several positions including Store Manager II and Integrated Sales Consultant. As a Graphics Director within the Athletic Department, of his alma mater California State University Fullerton Athletic Department, Jayce hopes to make an impact on the institution that helped shape his career.

Jayce is an involved member of his local community and has found a way to give back through his biggest passion, health and fitness. As a former mid-distance runner, Jayce regularly participates in local races ranging from 10Ks to Marathons, that correspond with deserving charities such as Back On My Feet Greater Los Angeles. He is currently training for his 5th consecutive Los Angeles Marathon and hopes of competing in the World Marathon Challenge to raise money for charity.

Jayce is grateful to be involved in the N.E.W Scholarship Foundation and is humbled he can honor one of his dearest friends. He hopes to utilize his graphic design and communication skills to educate and inspire others of Natalie's Legacy.
