Ernest Baskerville, an alumnus of the University of San Francisco Masters of Arts, Sports Management Program was Natalie’s mentor. He played a pivotal role in her journey to becoming a candidate for the University of San Francisco Masters in Sports Management Program.
Ernest’s love for basketball is expressed through his work, spirit of volunteerism and focus on growing the community. Ernest has an extensive track record in the world of sports. Currently, he is the Director of Sports Marketing for the John Wooden Awards– a program that honors the nation’s top female and male collegiate basketball players of the year. In addition, Ernest is an adjunct professor at Pasadena City College, he teaches a course for first year students athletes– a course created to help develop successful academic and professional behaviors. Ernest has a passion for supporting the basketball community. Currently, Ernest is South Pasadena High School’s boy’s varsity head coach. Ernest has been recognized as a CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) Coach of the year, and a five time Conference Coach of the Year.
Ernest was instrumental in the creation of the Natalie Elizabeth Williams scholarship foundation. The Williams Family is very appreciative of his efforts and support.
